The Westfalen NA is the official North American extension of the German Verband, the Westfälisches Pferdestammbuch e.V.. The Westfalen NA is open to horses from all German-recognized Warmblood registries, as well as Thoroughbreds and Anglo-Arabians. Westfalen NA horses receive official passport-style registration papers from Germany, Microchip, Life Number and Westfalen brand, (if eligible for a brand by pedigree) are entered into the German database of sport horses (VIT).
The Oldenburg Registry North America and International Sporthorse Registry (ISR-Oldenburg NA) - was founded in 1983. North America needs an independent Sport Horse Breed Organization which works on the basis of 200 years of European experience and as successful as European registries.
The Performance Horse Registry (PHR) offers horse owners and breeders the opportunity to obtain identification papers for their horses, record pedigrees and collect performance records—all in one setting. Since the PHR is part of the United States Equestrian Federation, your horses’ records will be part of one of the largest equine databases in the world. The rankings for the American Performance Horse as based on results from USEF licensed competitions.
For over thirty years, the non-profit KWPN-NA association has brought the passion and focus of the Dutch breeder home to North America, where breeders are now producing top international horses competing around the world in a variety of disciplines. With more than 1,300 members and an average of more than 420 registered foals annually over the last decade, the KWPN-NA has grown to become one of the continent’s largest Warmblood organizations.
Equestrian competitors, leisure riders, coaches, fans and enthusiasts each share a personal bond with the horse. This commonality defines the membership of the United States Equestrian Federation which serves as the National Governing Body for Equestrian Sport.
US Equestrian trains, selects, and funds our United States Equestrian Team, which consistently wins medals at the highest level of international competition, including the Olympic Games. US Equestrian also licenses equestrian competitions of all levels across the United States each year.
Part of AWR’s mission is to provide beneficial services for its Members, which enhance and encourage American Warmblood Registry Sporthorse ownership, and to record and preserve the pedigrees of the American Warmblood Registry Sporthorses while maintaining the integrity of the breed.
